The Lingle Directory profiles alternative programs for
children and youth who are at risk of confinement in closed facilities and
lockups. The profiles are stored in a database designed to
provide web site users program information in a convenient format.
By using the quick search located in the banner above, users can retrieve
programs by name, state or special population (e.g., gang members).
The fields can be searched alone or in a combination. For
example, entering Texas in the State box and
pressing GO will retrieve
every program in the directory located in that state. A search can be
created for programs located in Texas that specifically treat youth who are
gang members by entering Texas in the State box
and selecting “gang members” in the Special Population
drop down, then pressing the GO
button.
Other Search Options
help to refine search criteria to consider additional dimensions of program
specialization or search program description fields for key words.
